BASB the TV Show?

I’m speaking at the 4th Annual Lifestyle Medicine Congress in Mexico City!

Taking place Oct. 21-23, it will be a deep dive into “lifestyle medicine,” i.e. how sleep quality, stress management, nutrition, relationships, physical activity, and substance use profoundly affects our bodies and lives just as much as any medicine.

I recently published the story of my journey healing psychosomatic pain, and this is the first time I’ll dive deeper into what I learned and what worked for me in a live setting.

There’s also an incredible lineup of speakers on many aspects of the relationship between body, mind, and spirit. Check out this quick TikTok video I made on a visit to the venue.

You can use the code TIAGO10 for 10% off your ticket. It’s a fairly small event and we’ll have lots of time to talk before, during, and after the official sessions. I would really love to see you there!

My AI Toolkit: 3 Essential Tools for Productivity and Creativity

In the rapidly evolving world of AI, it's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of tools available. I've found that spreading my attention across too many different platforms is counterproductive.

So, I've narrowed my focus to three main AI tools that I use consistently and find incredibly valuable:

  1. ChatGPT and Claude: These conversational AI assistants have become indispensable for my writing and everyday tasks. They help me brainstorm ideas, draft content, and solve problems. When it comes to writing in particular, I noticed that Claude is a little stronger than ChatGPT.
  2. Perplexity: Perplexity has effectively replaced Google as my go-to search engine and become my primary tool for learning and research. What sets it apart is its ability to generate comprehensive, custom-written articles on any topic – almost like creating your own personal Wikipedia. I like that it cites its sources, allowing for easy fact-checking and further exploration.
  3. Midjourney: For visual creativity, Midjourney is my favorite. It's an image generation tool that brings my imagination to life. Whether I'm working on a project that requires visual elements or simply want to explore creative concepts, Midjourney offers a playground for visual experimentation.

What AI tools are you finding most useful in your work or personal life? I'd love to hear about your experiences!

Building a Second Brain – The TV Show

I've written a proposal for a TV show based on my book Building a Second Brain. It's an idea I've been contemplating and wanted to share publicly so it might become a reality someday.

The concept: an intervention-style series exploring people's digital lives, helping them tackle information overload and enhance their creativity.

From busy parents to stressed executives, we'd showcase real stories of digital transformation.

If you're curious to see how the Second Brain concepts might translate to screen, take a look.

How to Use the PARA Method on reMarkable

ReMarkable just published a fantastic video and article about how to use the PARA Method on their device.

If you haven't heard of reMarkable, it's an ultrathin tablet and stylus designed to replicate the experience of writing on paper for distraction-free, digital notetaking.

The PARA Method provides a simple system for organizing all the notes and documents on your reMarkable tablet.

I wanted to share some personal news before we get into this week's issue. Lauren and I had our third baby last week. His name is Ángel. Mama and baby are both healthy, and our two older kids are absolutely beside themselves with excitement. It's one of those weeks where everything else fades into the background. The Forte family is growing, and I couldn't be more grateful. 3 Second Brainers. 3 Ways to Organize. One CODE Method. Is there one right way to organize information? Week 2 of the...

Last week was my 41st birthday, and next month is the 4-year anniversary of the release of my first book, Building a Second Brain. There's one thing I want to ask of you to commemorate both occasions: to send me a photo of someone reading one of my books in public. I still have never seen a reader "in the wild" like that, even after close to 500,000 copies sold worldwide. This is something I'd so love to witness, even second-hand via a photo. Would you please keep a look out for someone...
