I firmly believe AI is the biggest shift in how we work since the invention of the internet.
And I’ve been especially curious about what it means for how businesses operate.
That led me to connect with Hayden Miyamoto, a serial entrepreneur, business systems expert, and someone who’s already using AI to run and scale multiple businesses. We’ve been comparing notes over the past few months, and now we’re teaming up to share what we’ve learned.
On Wednesday, April 23, at 11 am ET, we’ll walk you through the Master Prompt Method—a simple but powerful way to turn AI from a scattered set of tools into your most valuable employee.
You’ll see a live demo, understand why this works, and learn how to start using it right away.
We’ll also give you a sneak peek at a new program we’re building, designed to help you install this kind of AI operating system in your business.

Here’s what I’ll show you:
- Emails that literally write themselves
- A smarter way to stay on top of follow-ups

Why Switching Tasks Is More Costly Than You Think
So many lessons from old-school manufacturing still apply to modern knowledge work. One of the biggest is the cost of switching modes.
It takes real energy to move from one “brain state” to another. That simple insight reveals one of the most underappreciated truths in productivity:
The order in which you complete tasks matters.
Consider two sequences:
- Task A → Task B → Task A → Task B
- Task A → Task A → Task B → Task B
Same tasks. But radically different energy demands.
Every time you switch between different types of tasks—say, creative writing and financial planning—you’re asking your brain to reboot. That mental “context switching” draws on precious cognitive resources.
That’s why batching your work—doing similar tasks together—isn’t just efficient, it’s essential.
The latest research from the University of Pennsylvania backs this up, quantifying the real cognitive cost of these brain state transitions. You can check it out here.
The takeaway: Don’t just prioritize what you work on. Prioritize how you sequence it.
Build Your Own Apps with AI
I admire what software can do, but the idea of building my own tools always felt out of reach…like something reserved for engineers or tech founders.
That’s why I’m so excited (and honestly a bit nervous) to be joining the next—and likely only—live cohort of Build Your Own Apps with AI, a course by my friend Nat Eliason.
It starts tomorrow, and I didn’t want to miss the chance to share it with you.
This course is built on a simple, powerful idea: you don’t need to learn to code to create your own apps anymore. With AI, what used to take a full dev team can now be done in hours or days.
I’ll be documenting what I build and sharing it with you. And I hope a few of you will join me in the cohort so we can learn together.
