My New Book Is Coming…

I’m incredibly excited to share news that’s been two years in the making: my next book is coming in Fall 2026!

It’s called Life in Perspective, and it represents the culmination of a reflective practice I’ve been refining since 2008: the annual review.

Having led over 1,000 people through this practice over the last 5+ years, I’ve been astonished at how profoundly life-changing it is. There is simply no tool, technique, system, or strategy I know of that rivals an annual review for self-understanding, self-confidence, and achieving your goals.

The book contains everything I’ve learned—distilled into a complete framework you can follow for yourself.

But here’s what makes this special: for the first time ever, I’m offering early access to the manuscript—a full year before publication—as part of this year’s Annual Review program.

You’ll be among the very first to experience the complete methodology and help shape the final book.

More details about the Annual Review 2026 program coming to your inbox tomorrow!

40 Minute Guided Meditation to Plan Your Most Fulfilling Life

I’m sharing a guided meditation I’ve used for years to think about the future differently.

The Five Year Countdown pulls wisdom from your future self back into the present—so you can make better decisions, set clear intentions, and uncover what matters most to you.

This is the work I’m most passionate about. The kind that changes how you see yourself and your possibilities. I hope it serves you.

Set aside an hour. Find somewhere quiet. And give yourself permission to imagine without limits.

The Internet Serendipity World Tour: Meet Other Creatives IRL

Online communities are thriving. Yet, in-person meetups often only happen in major cities (such as New York, SF, or London). Most cities don’t have the critical mass necessary for IRL meetups.

Enter the Internet Serendipity World Tour, powered by Circle.

Over the next weeks, the tour is visiting 13 cities, from Taipei to Vancouver, for in-person meetups from members of like-minded online communities (like ours).

Your host is Will Mannon, whom many of you will still remember as my first course manager in the BASB cohorts.

Join to meet fellow creatives in your city, talk about your latest creative projects, and get energized to keep going on your creative path.

Sleep: How to Unlock Your Competitive Edge

Lauren and I recently stumbled on Chris Sparks’ guide to better sleep, and it’s transformed our nights.

We went from a 7 to a 9 out of 10 just by adopting three simple changes: mouth taping, a white noise machine, and an eye mask.

I love how Chris doesn’t just explain why sleep matters—he gives you specific, actionable steps you can take tonight. The density of insights is remarkable.

If you’ve been struggling with sleep quality or just want to optimize what you’re already doing, this is worth 10 minutes of your time.

I’m putting the finishing touches on the agenda for the live kick-off session of The Annual Review 2026 this Thursday, and I couldn’t be more excited to meet everyone in the program. We just crossed 500 people enrolled this morning. And they're already making their way through the first few chapters of my upcoming book Life in Perspective. Quick reminder that enrollment closes in just over 24 hours—at midnight PT tomorrow, Dec. 3. So this is your last chance to join us. Let’s kick off 2026...

In case you missed yesterday’s announcement: Enrollment is now open for The Annual Review 2026! This year, you’ll get exclusive early access to my upcoming book Life in Perspective—a full year before it’s published. You’ll work through the complete annual review methodology I’ve refined over 17 years, and your feedback will help shape the final version that thousands of others will read. The program runs Dec. 4 through Jan. 7 and includes two live sessions with me, the book manuscript,...

For years, I’ve collected questions and prompts that reveal hidden truths about our lives. As the end of 2025 approaches, here are 3 of my favorites that never fail to give me insight: 1. When did you feel most alive? What was happening around you to fuel that aliveness? This helps you identify the conditions that make you feel alive, so you can recreate them in the future. 2. What hardships are you carrying with you into this time of year? This surfaces the disappointments, heartbreaks, and...
