Today, I have a message for anyone feeling the urge to get their Second Brain juuuust right...
\nAny system that must be perfect to be reliable is deeply flawed, fragile, and will fall apart as soon as you turn your attention elsewhere.
\nRemember that you're not building an encyclopedia of immaculately organized knowledge but a working system. Both in the sense that it must work and that it's a regular part of your everyday lives.
\nTo make this concrete:
\nAim for creating a system that's imperfect, but continues to be useful in the real conditions of your life.
\nWe all have a relationship with money, whether we acknowledge it or not. For many of us, that relationship is fraught with tension, shame, and unexamined beliefs passed down through generations.
\nWhat if, instead of avoiding or resenting money, we could heal our relationship with it?
\nIn this blog post, I share how a weekend intensive gave me a deep understanding of where my mindset toward money came from and how it has shaped my life and my decisions. It also unearthed how I can change it to serve me better.

A few weeks ago, BASB reader Benedetto, an engineer, researcher, and data scientist, wrote to me that he hosted a workshop on the BASB methodology at his company to introduce it to his colleagues.
\nHe graciously shared a public version of his presentation so I can include it in the newsletter.
\nIt's a great example of how you can take initiative and introduce the concept at work. He included just enough theory to lead his coworkers through hands-on exercises and group discussions.
\nDeveloping a shared understanding of knowledge management in your organization is so crucial.

\nAs a brand, we’re still fairly new to sponsorships. Over the past 1.5 years, we’ve explored dedicated YouTube videos with brands like Notion and Milanote and occasionally included ads in this newsletter.
\nHowever, we know there’s significant potential to grow our sponsorship revenue and benefit YOU better by refining our strategy and partnering with the right brands.
\nThat’s why we were thrilled to have the chance to be coached by sponsorship expert Justin Moore. You can now check out our conversation on his YouTube channel.

Catching my breath for a moment—it’s been a busy start to the year, in all the best ways.
